Designing architecture in virtual reality, which students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague started to learn a year ago, will allow even non-specialists to understand and experience architecture authentically and appreciate the design with its details. In the future, this may transform not only the presentation of architecture, but the approach to it in general. Prof. Michal Šourek from the Department of Architecture at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, who teaches the new course, is also behind the development of the Wearrecho software.
The results of the work with Wearrecho can be studied by students and their teachers from the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the CTU in the unique space of the Virtuplex studio in Horní Počernice, Prague. It is a unique presentation space of 600 square meters. We talked about how to work with Wearrecho and what makes it unique with Prof. Michal Šourek and a student Bc. Martin Kříž, who prepared his bachelor thesis in it.
